No es la primera vez que un presidente boliviano haga huelga de hambre. Presidente Hernan Siles Zuazo tambien hizo huelga de hambre, dos veces: una vez en 1956 y una vez en 1984.
In April 2009 the president of Bolivia was in the headlines for being on a hunger strike. It was his way of lobbying. It’s not unheard of for a Bolivian president to go on a hunger strike. President Hernan Siles Zuazo also went on a hunger strike, on two occasions; once in 1956 and once in 1984.
